In order to further enhance services, Authorize.Net will be partnering with third-party cloud network service Akamai, to access over 100,000 dynamic IP addresses, that can be used at any time. With Akamai in place, traffic will route faster and more efficiently.

Authorize.Net is changing their "URL" for their API, so all users will be required to change their AppConfig for the live Authorize.net URL

Although changes are not mandatory until June 2016, Authorize.Net highly recommends store merchants begin the change now now.
